Dear Members,
Every welcoming smile, thoughtfully arranged display, and hour you give helps our store thrive, and helps CAL support our community through grants and scholarships. Thank you for being part of the work!
I encourage you to consider taking a more active role in our store. Whether you commit to a regular shift, learn a different task, or share your ideas, your involvement makes a difference. It’s also a wonderful way to build friendships and get to know fellow members.
Have you thought about becoming a team leader? If you enjoy working with others, helping things run smoothly, and making people feel welcome, this could be a rewarding next step. You don’t have to know everything to express an interest. Please talk with me or a current team leader, or one of our store managers about what the role involves.
I expect open communication, positive attitudes, and willingness to solve problems together. I look forward to working with each and every member of our board.
As your president, I would love to hear how you’d like to become more involved. Let’s work together to keep our store a place where volunteers feel valued, customers feel welcome, and our community benefits.
