Hi Cal Members,
Our CAL board met at Diane Arrants's home on Tuesday, June 5th. The current board members hosted with a salad bar lunch complete with breads, sparkling wine and dessert. Our new board for 2018-2019 is awesome; they are such talented ladies with new and fresh ideas. Before the lunch our new board was introduced and they were able to take part in our agenda.
Our last agenda item was the discussion of the sale of Bizarre Bazaar's current location. Our landladies are firm on the price of $1,200,000. I have spoken to both of them at length looking for a solution; they are quite sure their price is within market value. After a lengthy discussion, a vote was called for and both our current and incoming board members unanimously made a decision not to pursue the purchase of the property. We will find a new home - the search has begun - so we can continue our mission of giving to our community.
Wednesday, June 20th, is our last meeting for this year until our September meeting. CAL will be presenting scholarship awards at this meeting. Please join us for this special morning along with Sherry Ennis and her committee.
There is no other official CAL business for the summer except for our 4th of July parade participation - and we hope all of you will consider joining us. It is great fun to decorate, walk or ride and it doesn't take a lot of your time. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Pour a cup of coffee or tea. Add a bit of sugar and cream. Find a quilt and settle in. Read a book or sleep and dream.
