Hi Members,
Don’t forget to mark your calendars Wednesday, April 24, for our Spring Luncheon. Our theme this year is Kentucky Derby. We are encouraging you to wear a hat, of any fashion, to get in the spirit of the derby.
Go by BB and find yourself a hat, dig out something from your closet, borrow one or just come without! We just want you there!!
We were regaled by Mary Faux and her hats at a General Meeting sometime ago (she's famous for her hats): You can see the models in her hats in the Stylish Hats album for some great ideas! Below is is our own Icons of Style from another General Meeting!!
We are still figuring out the location and should have that finalized very soon. There will be room for 125. Sign ups will be at the March 20 General Meeting. Price will be announced as soon as our location has been secured.
Prizes will be awarded for: most creative hat, silliest hat, most Kentucky Derbyish hat, a surprise award. We will also have our raffle tickets available for purchase for $1 each or 6 for $5.
