SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Dear Members,
We are nearing the finish line now. The best is yet to come! “Celebration of Giving” is our opportunity to congratulate this year’s Scholarship and Grants winners, and hopefully gain inspiration from their stories.
Our scholarship winners have such a diverse range of interests: Aerospace Engineering, Biology, Civil Engineering, International Relations and Diplomacy, and Medicine to name just a handful. We will hear briefly, from a couple of them. We will also be hearing from or about a couple of our former scholarship winners and see where they are today. Reading the applications of these amazing and hard working students has given me confidence that we have talented youth who will be real contributors in the not so distant future.
It’s rewarding to know that the money we earn at Bizarre Bazaar, through all of our efforts, is making a difference to so many outstanding young people, and hopefully this inspires all of us to continue our work to support them.
There will be a Celebration of Giving for both the Scholarships and Grants awards at the June meeting, with a few of the recipients speaking.
