Dear Volunteers,
It was another stellar month ladies and Robert! Thank you for all your hard work getting the merchandise out there!
Just to let you know, we are still “bursting at the seams” with donations, so anyone who can spare some time will be greatly welcome! We are especially in need of steamers and ironers as there is a bit of a back log in processing clothing. Help!
We would like to make it easy for you to mark summer clothes, so here is a quick overview of suggested prices.
Shorts: $4.00
Crops: $5.00
Sundresses: $6.00 to $8.00
Tanks: $3.00 for “strappy”, $4.00 to $6.00 for others
Short sleeve tees: $4.00
These are for average quality items; for better brands, add a little more.
Remember, June is blue tag month. Yellow tags will be for July and won’t be used until the 21st (the 4th Thursday of the month). 'Oops' for a day’s work of tagging with the yellow tags!
One other quick reminder: Shoes need to be new or like new and current fashion. Please check for wear, especially on the heels and soles and look for toe marks on sandals. We will let someone else have the less than ‘upscale resale’ items!
Yet another thanks to those of you kind enough to hang onto your winter items until fall to make room for all the summer things we need to put out. Your help makes it easier to process things through the back room. (Plus, our out-of-season storage is full.)
Those of you who read your emails or who attended the general meeting in May are aware of the incredible amount we have been able to gift to the community and to our aspiring scholars. Bonner County has recognized that Community Assistance League and Bizarre Bazaar are a force of good and help us by donating an amazing amount of quality merchandise. They also recognize us by shopping at our store and by supporting our fund-raising events. We can not do this without the help of every one of you! Please come share in the magic that is Bizarre Bazaar and spend a few hours a month with us.
Diane and I may not always get a chance personally to tell you who volunteer how much we appreciate you and to thank you for your dedication. So, a great big Thank You to each of you who give some of your valuable time to Bizarre Bazaar. You are amazing!
