Vice-Presidents Corner

Dear Members,

I awoke this morning to what is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And what came to mind was decorated Christmas trees, which mine certainly is not. However, CAL's Kinderhaven tree was decorated, and decorated beautifully! The “In the Garden” themed tree not only won the People’s Choice award but brought in $4,100.00 for Kinderhaven. CAL’s heartfelt thanks go to Julia Kern, the committee chair extraordinaire, and the committee members, Barbara Eacret, Pat Lewis, Linda Loftis, Brigitte Sanborn, Penny Schardt and B.J. Tietjen.

The Kinderhaven tree not only showcased the talent and hard work of this year’s committee but also reminded me of the talent, enthusiasm and hard work that CAL members bring to every project our organization takes on; it makes me proud to be a part of such an organization. Please extend your thanks to any and all of the committee members you might see. I look forward to seeing you at the Christmas Luncheon next week.
