Dear Dear CAL friends,

Your generous retirement gift of the garden water feature and the kind, thoughtful notes have touched me deeply. It was an overwhelming outpouring of kindness that I did not expect especially since Bizarre Bazaar is such a successful joint effort by all of us. When I announced 10 years ago that I would retire when I turned 80, I guess I expected to spend my days looking at old photos in my rocking chair not realizing that the 80's are the best years of all and I expect to take full advantage of them.

The garden is my first priority and everyone that has been by to see the fountain says it looks beautiful in its new home. Thank you so much, and thanks to Barbara Pressler for her added garden design expertise .....the garden is beautiful.

Hope you'll come by after the 4th of July parade for our traditional picnic in my garden and see your gift in person. I just love it.
