2016 SCHOLARSHIP DISTRIBUTION

 

The Scholarship Committee met on May 5th to determine the 2016 CAL scholarship recipients. The applicant pool was excellent this year, and, since the committee had $33,000 to distribute, we went crazy and chose 31 high school students and six renewing scholars to receive awards.

The recipients will be invited to the June CAL meeting to be presented to the membership. The introduction of the students is always special as you, CAL members, have worked all year at BB to earn the money to help these young people along their academic paths.
 
Please plan to attend the General meeting in June to hear the recipients' goals; any doubts you may have about today’s young people will be dispelled!
