BIZARRE BAZAAR CHRISTMAS NEWS

Dear Volunteers,

And a good time was had by all! At least that is how it appeared on Friday night’s annual “After Hours Party” at Bizarre Bazaar. What a grand evening it was! If you couldn’t make it this time, we look forward to seeing you next year. And a big shout out to all the board members who provided the food! Who needs a caterer with these talented women around to take care of one’s culinary needs? The hors d'oeuvres were so good, that there were no leftovers!
As we move into the holiday season, you will notice more of our beautiful, sparkly clothing out on the floor. Monday will be the formal introduction of Holiday attire, so take a look when you are working or come in and wander around the Christmas Wonderland created by our members. The snowflakes made by you and the installation by Judy Dabrowski and Rose Cheney is magical.

We have been very busy the last few weeks, so we encourage everyone to sign up or just drop by and roll up your sleeves when you have an hour or so. It really is nice to have at least three members on a shift; however, it goes without saying that the more the merrier! We really need some help the Saturday after Thanksgiving. BB will be closed both Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. We expect traffic that Saturday, so please try to spare a few hours for us if possible. Due to the holiday schedule, this month’s markdowns will be done Monday, the 21st.

Team leaders…when you open, please look carefully around the shop for Christmas light plugins. Most of the lights are controlled by electrical strips, so all you should need to do is just turn the strip on. The one that consistently seems to get missed is by the cash register, under the counter. And for those of you closing, please use the on/off switch on the electrical strips to make it easier on the opening crew. All the lamps are plugged in (except those in the middle of the floor) so turn those on as well. It sure brightens things up on a dreary day!

And a couple of special mentions - a big thank-you to Leslie Gadsby for her beautiful creation of trees in our front windows - so wonderfully different from the rest of the windows in town.

And thanks to Kelley Young for so kindly modeling for our Bonner Bee ad this past week.
Your extra efforts mean so much!

And to all our volunteers, we want to thank you for your hard work and devotion to make Bizarre Bazaar the best little shop in Bonner County! Have a Wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving!

You all are so amazing and we thank you for all you contribute.
