Bizarre Bazaar Corner

Dear, Dear Volunteers,

Doesn't Bizarre Bazaar look gorgeous! Last Sunday was amazing as the shop was transformed from fall to Christmas. The merchandise is flying out the front door, but luckily there are still boxes of Christmas merchandise in the holiday room to refill those empty shelves. Thank you so much to all who made it happen so smoothly.

October 2015 was the biggest income month Bizarre Bazaar has ever had. The shop brought in an income of $6,000 MORE than October 2014. And all because of YOU that work so efficiently at the shop. And of course the quality and quantity of donations received. Dixie Stansell is tenacious getting estate sale donations into the shop. Thank you again, Dixie.

Notes:

1. The CAL Bridge Club thoughtfully gave BB a donation of $24. That was a nice surprise. Now they need our help. Polly Pizzi left a red bag under the counter that had 9 decks of cards and various other items for the bridge group as she has departed for the winter. The bag has disappeared. Please let Joyce or Cindy know if you have any clue where it may be.

2. Robert has done it again. $181 was made from the auction in Bonners Ferry last month. Isn't that amazing!

3. New cash register: It's so nice to have a cash register that minds! The old one was getting crotchety. Hopefully you will find it easy to use.

Other news: Members of Bonner County Historical Society are now entitled to a one-time only discount of $5 on a $20 purchase. Please initial and date the back of the card at the of purchase.

4. Ski Swap: This year BB will have the ski clothes and equipment ready for the town's ski swap next weekend. The ski department is by the dressing rooms and subject to change.

5. Thank you to the volunteers that deliver the pass-on donations. BB is now covered for every day of the week. Lee Sayers, Susan’s husband, is our guy for Tuesday. Thank you so much, Lee.

6. One last comment:

Lights: There are a million lights to turn on in the morning and then off at night. Please take a last look before you leave. The Christmas lights may last through the season if we don't leave them on all night. Thank You.

All is well. Hope to see you and your spouse at the Holiday Kickoff Party at BB this Friday night, November 13. It will be the first showing of the gorgeous party clothes and the cash register will be open!
