Bizarre Bazaar Corner

Dear Dedicated Volunteers,

Thank you to the volunteers that arrived for the annual BB training after the September meeting and thank you to the trainers who kindly repeated themselves for 5 groups.

Robert has done it again. After he enlightened us at the training session about the most popular auction items and what to save for him, he handed BB another wad of money - $813 from items he recently took from the pass-on boxes or items that just wouldn't sell in our shop. He takes the time several times a month to go to the auctions in Bonners Ferry and Spokane. Thank you, thank you, Robert.

Suzy Bryant, our jewelry lady, maintains a beautiful jewelry department. She has nearly created a full time job for herself and her husband, Bron, cleaning, repairing, researching and pricing the donations. Thank you, thank you to both of you. Our brand new member, Joanne Walker, a silver jewelry artist, has volunteered to help. BB may rival Tiffany’s.

A giant THANK YOU, also, to Sally Sonnichsen for the endless hours she has spent this summer keeping up with the linens. You will be missed this winter. Betsy Harding could use help with linens. Please call her if you can help on a regular basis.

Halloween/Fall - Please continue to unpack these seasonal boxes. There are about 10 of them still in the holiday room.

Sunday, November 1 - 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m - Decorate the shop for Christmas and pot luck lunch.

Friday, November 13 - 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m - After Hours Party for members and spouses to kick off the Christmas season and show off the shop.
